Pediatric Anesthesiologist Locum Opportunity | San Antonio, TX

Join The Children's Hospital of San Antonio for a 6-month locum assignment providing pediatric and neonatal anesthesia in a dedicated children's hospital.

6-month assignment
Start: November 23, 2026
Credentialing: 30-60 days, temporary privileges requested
Provider will perform their own cases
Epic EMR

Schedule
Monday-Friday, 5x8-hour shifts, no call
Holiday coverage needs:
November 23-25: 1 physician
December 21-23: 2 physicians
December 28-30: 1 physician

Cases & Practice Model
Pediatric and neonatal anesthesia
Provider performs their own cases
Pediatric fellowship required
Neonatal case log requirement: 15 cases involving patients less than 60 weeks old at CHOSA
Additional case log requirements must be met before submission
Epic training and/or testing required

Requirements
Pediatric anesthesiology fellowship required
Must meet pediatric and neonatal case log requirements
Active Texas medical license
Board Certified or Board Eligible

• 5x8 weekday schedule with no call
• Pediatric and neonatal anesthesia at a dedicated children's hospital
• Pediatric fellowship and neonatal case log requirements required
