Locum Pediatric Anesthesiologist Opportunity in San Antonio, TX

Zeal Med is seeking a board-certified, pediatric fellowship-trained Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens assignment in San Antonio, TX. Six-month contract, starting ASAP.

Position Overview

Start date: ASAP
Credentialing: 30 to 60 days (temporary privileges will be requested)
Contract length: 6 months
Schedule: 5x8s, plus holiday coverage on November 23 to 25, December 21 to 23, and December 28 to 30
Case types: pediatric and neonatal (must meet case log requirements below)
Provider will be doing their own cases
EMR: Epic. Clinician will be required to attend Epic training and/or test out.

About the Facility

Average patients per day: 20 to 30
Required procedures: ortho, ENT, general, dental, radiology, GI, neuro spine, and head

Requirements

Pediatric fellowship required
Board certified
Active TX license
BLS
Minimum 2 years experience
Clean record, no red flags
Case log: evidence of at least 15 neonatal cases (under 28 days old) and 75 pediatric cases (29 days to 1 year) within the past 12 months, reflective of the scope of privileges requested. For neonate credentialing (less than 60 weeks), 15 cases are needed.
