Pediatric/Cardiac Anesthesiologist Assignment - Tacoma, WA

Job description

Aya Healthcare is seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a long-term 1099 position in Tacoma, Washington. This ongoing need offers a consistent weekday schedule with additional call coverage available. Tacoma provides easy access to the Puget Sound waterfront, vibrant dining, and the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

Position Highlights:

Ongoing coverage beginning as soon as credentialing is complete
Long-term need
5x10 schedule
Monday through Friday
Daytime coverage with weekend and night call available
Looking for providers with at least 1-2 weeks of availability, with additional availability preferred


Practice Details:

Children's hospital setting
Solo model
No CRNAs
Cardiac OR coverage
Cardiac Cath Lab coverage
EP cardiac imaging coverage
Typically 1 OR case per day
Approximately 3 Cath procedures per day
Cardiac CT and MRI cases
Adult congenital cardiac cases only when applicable


Case Mix:

Bypass cardiac surgery
Cardiac catheterization procedures
Neonatal cardiac cases
Infant cardiac cases
Complex congenital heart procedures
Electrophysiology procedures
Cardiac ECMO procedures
Mediastinal explorations


Schedule:

Day shifts
Night call available
Weekend call available
Beeper call only
Not in-house call
