Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist Needed Near Tacoma, WA

A Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist locums opportunity is available near Tacoma, Washington, beginning as soon as credentialing is complete. The site can consider physicians offering a minimum of one to two weeks of availability at a time, with additional availability welcomed.

The primary schedule is Monday–Friday, five 10-hour shifts, covering Pediatric Cardiac OR, Cath Lab, EP and cardiac imaging. This is a solo physician model without CRNA support. Optional night and weekend beeper call may be available.

Assignment details:
• Start: ASAP / as credentialed
• Availability: Minimum one to two weeks at a time
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5x10s
• Practice model: Solo physician
• Cases: Pediatric Cardiac OR, Cath Lab, EP and cardiac imaging
• Typical volume: Approximately one cardiac OR case daily, three Cath procedures daily, or two to three imaging studies when assigned
• Adult cases: Adult congenital cardiac only
• No OB, general Pediatric call or general adult call
• License: Washington license; IMLC accepted for licensing
• Credentialing: Emergency privileges available
• Travel and housing: Included
• Malpractice: A+ rated coverage with tail included

Recent full-spectrum bypass experience is preferred. Recent neonatal cardiac experience is helpful, although physicians with more recent Cath-focused practice may still be considered.
