This 665-bed major teaching and quaternary-care hospital serves patients throughout northern New Jersey. The facility supports both inpatient and outpatient pediatric cardiology services within a comprehensive clinical infrastructure. Locum tenens coverage is sought to maintain continuity of care across inpatient and outpatient settings from September 2026 through March 2027.

The region surrounding this facility offers a range of outdoor and cultural attractions suited to varied interests. Clinicians on assignment may visit the Atlantic City Boardwalk, the Lakota Wolf Preserve, and the Sterling Hill Mining Museum, which features glowing minerals and is open from March through December. Seasonal activities such as apple and pumpkin picking, corn mazes, and leaf-peeping are available during the fall months, and nature tours, scenic hikes, and historic sites are accessible throughout the area.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians in this role will provide pediatric cardiology coverage on an alternating weekly schedule, totaling 40 hours per week. One week is dedicated to inpatient care with call responsibilities, followed by one week of outpatient clinic duties seeing 12 to 15 patients per day. Day shift coverage applies throughout the assignment, with call required during inpatient weeks. Board Certification in Pediatric Cardiology is required for all clinicians considered for this position.
