This hospital in northern New Jersey is a facility providing pediatric cardiology services across both inpatient and outpatient settings. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and infrastructure to support comprehensive pediatric cardiac care delivery. Locum tenens coverage is sought to ensure continuity of care beginning in October on an ongoing basis.

The state features coastal destinations with boardwalk attractions, as well as inland areas known for craft beverage scenes and small towns. Clinicians on assignment will find state parks, local farms, and community events accessible across both northern and southern parts of the state throughout the year.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians in this role will provide inpatient pediatric cardiology coverage on a continuous schedule running Monday at 8:00 AM through the following Monday at 8:00 AM, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Responsibilities include managing pediatric cardiology hospital inpatients, providing consultations, reading in-house echocardiograms and electrocardiograms, and answering and responding to all service calls. Clinicians must discuss all potential transfers and ECMO candidates with the pediatric cardiology medical director and are responsible for providing and receiving sign-out at each coverage transition. Board Certification in Pediatric Cardiology is required for all clinicians considered for this position.
