The facility operates at a low surgical volume and is structured to support locum tenens Physician Associates in an on-site inpatient and OR environment. Advanced Practice Providers take first call as part of the established staffing model.

About the clinician's workday

The Physician Associate will provide pediatric cardiothoracic surgery coverage across inpatient and OR settings, working day shifts and 24-hour shifts on a 7-on/7-off schedule. Call coverage is required at a 1:2 ratio, with APPs taking first call. Clinicians must have experience in pediatric surgery and pediatric cardiac care. Prescriptive authority is required for this assignment.
