PCICU - San Francisco, CA

Job description

• Start: 2/23/26
• Contract: 6 months (option to extend)
• Shifts: Variable 12s – days, nights, weekends, holidays
• Coverage: Must be able to do ~50% nights or weekends
• Minimum: 4 shifts/month

Setting: Inpatient PCICU (18-bed unit)
• 17–18 patients/day
• Majority peds & neonates (8 neonatal beds)
• ~8% adult congenital
• ~350 surgical cases/year
• High-acuity: ECMO, vents, HF, CRRT, pre/post-op & transplant patients

Team:
• Days: 1 attending, 3 NPs, 1 fellow per team
• Nights: 1 attending, 2 NPs

Procedures: IVs, arterial lines; possible intubations/central lines
EMR: Epic

Ideal Experience: PCICU, peds CV critical care, ECMO preferred
