We are seeking a PICU NP/PA for an ongoing assignment in San Francisco, California.

Start Date: August 2026
Contract Length: 6 months (option to extend)
Schedule: Variable 12-hour shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays; must provide at least 50% nights or weekends
Practice Setting: Hospital
Assignment Details:
• Pediatric cardiac ICU coverage in an academic medical center
• 18-bed unit with ~17–18 patients per day
• Patient population includes neonatal through adult congenital
• High-acuity surgical population including cardiac cases, vents, and pre/post-op patients
• APPs work alongside attendings, fellows, and NP teams
• IV and arterial line placement opportunities (other procedures handled by fellows/attendings)
• Epic EMR
License: Active California License Required
Requirements:
• NP or PA required (CPNP-AC for NP)
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric cardiac ICU (PCICU) experience required
• Must have experience with pediatric cardiovascular critical care (not stepdown or general ICU)
• Experience with heart failure preferred
• BLS and PALS required
• DEA required (CA Schedule II)
