Peds Hospitalist APP Needed in Toledo, OH

Job description

* Start: ASAP (as soon as credentialed)
* Contract Length: 13 weeks (2–4 months with option to extend)
* Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
* 5x12-hour shifts
* No call
* Facility may consider 2 providers to split the schedule

Practice Details:

* Inpatient Pediatric Hospitalist coverage
* Focus on Pediatric Pulmonology and Neurology patients
* Conditions include asthma, cystic fibrosis, pneumonia, seizure disorders, and medical management of trauma patients
* No newborn nursery, NICU, PICU, or delivery coverage
* Circumcisions not required
* Average daily census: 15+ patients
* EMR: Epic
* Orientation includes training with the lead PICU APP
* May float between Toledo Ebeid Children's Hospital, Bay Park, Flower, and Wildwood (all within 10 minutes)

Requirements:

* Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant only
* Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Hospitalist experience
* PALS required
* Ohio license preferred (licensing may be considered for the right candidate)
* DEA preferred

Credentialing:

* ASAP start upon credentialing
* Client is actively interviewing and looking to onboard quickly
