Job description

pecialty: Pediatric Acute Care APP (PICU Stepdown)
Start Date: ASAP upon credentialing
Contract Length: Ongoing, urgent coverage need
Reason for Coverage: Flu season surge and provider leaves
Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours only (no call)

Schedule

Shifts: 3x12-hour night shifts

Shift Time: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Coverage Includes: Nights, weekends, and holidays

Practice Setting

Unit Type: PICU Stepdown

Unit Size: 24 beds

Coverage Model: Shared unit coverage between two APPs overnight

Patient Population: Pediatric

Case Mix: High volume of pulmonary cases

Work Details

EMR: Epic

Procedures Required:

Endotracheal intubation

Arterial line placement

Requirements

Board Certification: Acute Care Certified (Pediatric Acute Care)

License: Active Ohio license required (OH licensed only)

Certifications: As required for acute care PICU practice

Credentialing

Timeframe: Approximately 30 days
