We are seeking a Pediatric Critical Care Physician for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity with an established hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

• Specialty: Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
• Start Date: October 15, 2026
• Assignment: Ongoing locum tenens coverage
• Schedule: Per diem / intermittent coverage
• Patient Volume: Approximately 8–12 patients per shift
• PICU: 8-bed Pediatric Critical Care Unit
• Facility: Level II Pediatric and Trauma Facility
• Credentialing: Approximately 45–60 days
• License Requirement: Active Indiana medical license required
• Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Required Certifications: BLS and PALS

The ideal physician will be comfortable managing a broad range of pediatric critical care cases and procedures, including:

• Invasive and non-invasive ventilation management
• Acute and chronic respiratory care, including BiPAP/CPAP and nitric oxide
• Intubation and airway management
• Central and arterial line placement
• Chest tube placement and management
• ECMO experience
• Bronchoscopy and BAL procedures
• Management of acute volume and blood pressure issues
• ICP evaluation and management
• Lumbar punctures and diagnostic/therapeutic taps
• Paracentesis and thoracentesis
• EKG and X-ray interpretation
• Additional advanced pediatric critical care procedures as needed
