Job description

Locum Pediatrician – Level I Nursery | 24-Hour Shifts

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatrician to provide coverage in a Level I Nursery.

Position Details:

Level I Nursery
Care for newborns 35 weeks gestational age and older
Approximately 500–600 deliveries annually (40–50 per month)
Care for well newborns and sick babies as needed
24-hour shifts including:
Daily newborn rounding
Attending deliveries and C-sections
Overnight call coverage with the ability to return to the hospital if needed (call-backs are very rare)

Required Experience & Qualifications:

Comfortable attending C-sections
Comfortable performing circumcisions
Frenotomy (tongue tie) experience is preferred but optional
NRP certification required
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
