Coverage Type: Any shifts available on a regular basis – coverage needed 24/7; mixture of days and night, goal to have 10-12 shifts of coverage per month
Schedule:
• Shift Details: 12-hour shifts; 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am

o Admissions required: Yes
• Call – no call (covered via shifts)

• Work Expectations

o Average admissions/day: between 4-12
o Average consults/day: N/A
o Procedures/day: LP’s – only if able
Work Details:
• Support Staff: 1 OM and 1 Ops Director
• Patient demographic: 0-17 years of age
• Amount of Coverage Needed per day/week or month: as many shifts in a month as available
• Patients per day: between 4-12 patients per day
• Patient Population/Age: 0-17
• Department Description: Inpatient pediatric general floor coverage for patients requiring admission from the ER, outside ERs or outside physician offices
• What type of ancillary services are offered:-All ancillary services (Xray, EKG, MRI, CT, Ultrasound, and all specialists available by phone aside from dermatology
• EMR: Epic
• Hospital Bed size: (if applicable) 169 beds (including NICU and PICU – 15 beds + 3 flex)
• Special Procedures: None
• Skills Required:
o Procedures Required- intubation, central line, chest tube line, art line, LP (if physician)
o Must perform independently-okay if not comfortable with this-we have resident learners who are willing to do the LPs
