Specialty: Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
Location: Toledo, Ohio
Contract length: Ongoing coverage
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM and 6:00 PM–6:00 AM; days, nights, swings, and weekends available. Target start date is October 2026, or as soon as credentialed.

Work Details:
• Inpatient pediatric coverage for patients ages 0–17
• Rounding and admissions required; no clinic responsibilities
• Average daily admissions range from 4–12 patients
• Procedures may include intubation, central lines, chest tubes, arterial lines, and lumbar punctures if comfortable
• Hospital provides comprehensive ancillary services, including imaging and specialty support; resident learners are available to assist with lumbar punctures

Requirements:
• MD or DO
• Board certification in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
• Active DEA registration
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Must be comfortable providing independent inpatient coverage
