This is a well-established, high-volume pediatric hospital featuring a busy emergency department with approximately 55,000 annual visits. The facility offers robust subspecialty support including PICU, CVICU, and NICU, as well as dedicated child life specialists and pediatric social workers, creating a truly collaborative and multidisciplinary environment for both patient care and physician development.

Physician - Emergency Medicine - Pediatric

Job Details:

• Provide high-quality emergency care to pediatric patients in a high-volume setting with approximately 55,000 annual visits
• Collaborate closely with subspecialty teams including PICU, CVICU, NICU, and hospitalists to manage complex cases
• Work alongside a strong support team including child life specialists and pediatric social workers dedicated to emergency department presence
• Engage in bedside teaching and supervision of Pediatric, Emergency Medicine, and Family Practice residents from six programs
• Participate in training and didactic sessions for Pediatric ER fellows if desired
• Benefit from full scribe coverage to optimize patient care and documentation
• Work fair, balanced shifts with the potential for overtime if desired
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Emergency Medicine is required
• Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine required
• Nevada Medical License or eligibility to obtain is required
• Clean malpractice and medical license history highly preferred
• This is a permanent, full-time position requiring residency within the immediate local area; relocation may be required
