Full Time Locums Pediatric Endocrinologist - Temp License Available

Job description

We are seeking Board-Certified Pediatric Endocrinologists for a full-time, long-term locum opportunity in Alaska. This unique position offers a blend of in-person clinical care and virtual hospital call coverage, supporting continuity of care.

This opportunity is ideal for providers seeking consistent, ongoing work with a balanced onsite and remote schedule.

Schedule

Full-Time Coverage – Rotating Monthly Schedule:

2 Weeks Onsite (Clinic + Call)

Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Night Call: Weekdays

24-hour Call: Weekends

2 Weeks Remote (Virtual Hospital Call)

24-hour daily call coverage

Not onsite

We are specifically seeking candidates interested in long-term, ongoing coverage that includes both in-person clinic and virtual call responsibilities.

Patient Population: Pediatric

Average Patients per Shift: 15

Support Staff: Yes


Requirements

Board Certification: Required

Fellowship Training: Preferred

Licensure:

Alaska license preferred

Candidates eligible for a temporary Alaska state license while full licensure is in process will be considered

Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, PALS

Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days
