Pediatric Endocrinology Locum Opportunity – Boston, MA

Location: Boston, Massachusetts

Specialty: Pediatric Endocrinology

Start Date: September/October 2026

Assignment Length: 13 Weeks with Option to Extend

Schedule

* Monday–Friday
* 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
* Full-time coverage preferred
* Minimum availability of 2 weeks per month required

Practice Setting

* Outpatient Pediatric Endocrinology Clinic
* Potential coverage at satellite locations in Newton and/or Danvers
* EMR: Epic

Patient Volume

* Average of 12–15 patients per day
* Pediatric patient population

Clinical Responsibilities

* Evaluation and Management (E&M) visits only
* No procedures required
* Dedicated Certified Diabetes Educators (CDEs) provide diabetes education and support services

Requirements

* Board Certified in Endocrinology
* Active Massachusetts license preferred
* Facility is willing to consider licensing
* DEA required
* Minimum of 1 year of experience required

Credentialing

* Standard credentialing timeframe: 3–6 months
* Current target timeframe: Approximately 180 days
* Expedited credentialing may be available in select situations
* Massachusetts-licensed providers strongly preferred due to current state licensing delays

Travel

* Airfare provided
* Hotel accommodations provided
* Rental car provided
