Description:
We are seeking a Board-Certified Pediatric Endocrinologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Massachusetts. This is an outpatient-only assignment providing evaluation and management (E&M) services for pediatric patients. The assignment begins September 21, 2026, with an initial 13-week commitment and the option to extend.
This is a full-time Monday-Friday opportunity, with a minimum availability of two weeks per month. Providers may also have the opportunity to work at satellite clinics in Newton and/or Danvers.
About the facility:
This opportunity is with a well-established acute care hospital featuring a dedicated pediatric outpatient endocrinology clinic. The practice is supported by a collaborative team, including Certified Diabetes Educators (CDEs) who provide diabetes education, allowing the physician to focus exclusively on evaluation and management (E&M) visits. No procedures or additional services are required.
Compensation:
Pay Rate: $200/Hr. | Details can be discussed further after applying to the job posting.

Job Responsibilities:
Provide outpatient pediatric endocrinology care.
Perform evaluation and management (E&M) visits only.
See approximately 12-15 patients per day.
Document patient encounters using Epic EMR.
Collaborate with Certified Diabetes Educators and multidisciplinary staff.
Provide care at the primary outpatient clinic, with possible coverage at satellite clinics in Newton and/or Danvers.
No call responsibilities.
No procedures required.
Qualifications:
Board Certified in Pediatric Endocrinology (required).
Massachusetts medical license required; facility is willing to license, although currently seeking MA-licensed providers due to licensing timelines.
Active DEA required.
Minimum 1 year of experience required.
Experience with Epic electronic medical record system required.
Working Hours:
Assignment Start Date: September 21, 2026
Assignment Length: 13 weeks with option to extend
Coverage: Scheduled shifts only; No Call
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (8-hour day shifts)
Full-time coverage preferred
Minimum availability of 2 weeks per month
