Pediatric Gastroenterology Physician Contract Opportunity – South Carolina

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Pediatric Gastroenterology Physician in South Carolina.

Start Date: ASAP - Upon Credentialing

Schedule:
-Weekly coverage required
-Friday 3:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM (schedule may be negotiable)
-Call coverage Friday–Sunday each week

Practice Setting:
-Hospital-based Pediatric Gastroenterology
-50-bed hospital
-8–12 patients per day
-Patient population includes adolescents, pediatrics, and newborns

Responsibilities:
-Consult service coverage
-Weekend urgent GI cases as needed
-Routine weekend scopes
-Management of urgent GI conditions, including bleeding when necessary
-X-ray interpretation preferred

EMR: Epic

Requirements:
-Board Certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology or Gastroenterology
-Active South Carolina license required
-BLS and ACLS certifications
-DEA and CSR required
-Minimum of 2 years of experience
-Required vaccinations: Flu, MMR, and Varicella (waivers accepted)

Credentialing: 90–120 days with an active South Carolina license
