Contract Length: Ongoing
Schedule: 2–3 weeks per month | Monday–Friday, 7a–5p | Inpatient + Outpatient mix
Location: Tennessee (TN license required | IMLC accepted)
Join a busy Pediatric GI program at a leading Tennessee hospital providing exceptional care to pediatric patients. This role offers consistent coverage blocks, a strong support team, and the opportunity to perform scopes in a collaborative and well-equipped environment.
⭐ Highlights:
Flexible Schedule: 2–3 weeks per month with 7a–5p shifts — potential for teleGI coverage for PM shifts.
Comprehensive Support: Work alongside RNs, CMAs, nutritionists, care navigators, and a pediatric psychologist.
Diverse Case Mix: 12–15 outpatients daily, 5 inpatients, and procedures on blocked half days (EGD/Colo).
Position Details:
Department: Pediatric Gastroenterology – high-volume, full-spectrum pediatric GI care
EMR: Epic
Special Equipment: Endoscopes
Procedures: EGD and colonoscopy
Support Staff: 1 RN, 1 CMA, 2 Nutritionists, Pediatric Care Navigation Program, Psychologist
Credentialing: ~90 days
Requirements:
Board Certified in Gastroenterology (Pediatric focus preferred)
TN license required (IMLC accepted)
DEA (TN/VA) required
BLS required; PALS preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience
Must be able to perform scopes and have a clean background
