The facility features a 30-bed department with a strong focus on delivering exceptional pediatric oncology and hematology care to the region.

Opportunity:
Physician - Pediatrics - Hematology/Oncology

Job Details:

• Provide comprehensive pediatric hematology/oncology services with 5-10 patient encounters per shift
• Schedule includes Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm with call coverage from 4:30pm to 8:00am
• Weekend call coverage from Friday at 4:30pm through Sunday at 8:00am (7 days at a time)
• Inpatient responsibilities included during call coverage periods
• Hospitalists available for overnight admissions, except for new oncology diagnoses
• Up to 15 shifts per month available on a PRN basis; providers must submit availability for specific dates
• Bone marrow biopsy experience is required
• Lumbar puncture skills required
• Board certification required with ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Active Missouri license or IMLC required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60-90 days
• Locum Tenens engagement with an ASAP start date on an ongoing basis
