This facility is a prestigious pediatric cancer and hematology center operating as an affiliate clinic of one of the most renowned pediatric oncology institutions in the world. With a 30-bed department and a strong multidisciplinary team, the facility is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to its youngest and most vulnerable patients.

Opportunity:
Physician - Pediatrics - Hematology/Oncology

Job Details:

  • Locum Tenens opportunity with up to 15 shifts per month
  • Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with call coverage from 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM
  • Weekend call coverage starting Friday at 4:30 PM through Sunday at 8:00 AM (7 days at a time)
  • Inpatient responsibilities are included during call coverage periods
  • Hospitalists are available to admit patients overnight, except for new oncology diagnoses
  • 5-10 patient encounters per shift in a 30-bed department
  • Bone marrow biopsy experience is required
  • Lumbar puncture skills are required
  • Board certification is required (Certified level minimum)
  • Active Missouri license or IMLC required to be considered
  • ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required
  • Fellowship training required (Level 3)
  • Estimated credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days
  • Site is currently accepting PRN providers to submit availability, with specific dates to be provided upon review

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
