📋 Contract Details
🔹 Anticipated Start Date: ASAP (pending credentialing)
🔹 Contract Length: 2–4 months with option to extend
🔹 Schedule: Scheduled coverage with no call
🔹 Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
🔹 Full-time, five 12-hour shifts per week
🔹 Two providers may be considered to split the schedule
🔹 Employment Type: 1099 Locum Tenens
🔹 Ohio license preferred (licensing may be considered for the right candidate)

🏥 Site Details & Clinical Scope
🔹 Children's hospital
🔹 Inpatient general pediatric floor coverage
🔹 Primary focus on Pediatric Pulmonology, Pediatric Neurology, and Hospital Medicine
🔹 Average daily census of 15+ patients
🔹 Epic EMR
🔹 Collaborate with Pediatric Hospitalists, Pediatric Pulmonologists, and Pediatric Neurologists
🔹 Manage conditions including asthma, cystic fibrosis, pneumonia, seizure disorders, and medical management of pediatric trauma patients
🔹 No newborn nursery, deliveries, NICU, or PICU responsibilities
🔹 Circumcisions not required
🔹 Orientation includes onboarding shifts with the lead PICU APP
🔹 May float to nearby affiliated hospitals within the local area

📋 Candidate Requirements
🔹 Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner required
🔹 Active Ohio license preferred
🔹 Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric Hospitalist or related inpatient pediatric experience
🔹 PALS certification required
🔹 DEA preferred
🔹 Epic experience preferred
🔹 COVID-19 vaccination required (medical and religious exemptions accepted)
🔹 Flu vaccination required (medical and religious exemptions accepted)
