Pediatric Hospitalist Opportunity in Arkansas

Pediatric Hospitalist opportunity available in AR
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Assignment Length: 6 months with possible extension
Schedule: 24/hour call, Friday 5pm- Monday 7am. One weekend per month. Not inhouse- Can take call from hotel/home, call response time is 30 minutes.
Additional Details:
• Coverage for newborn nursery, ER Coverage, and inpatient med-ped unit
• Inpatient volume will be very small - maybe 1-2, Average of 5 babies over the weekend in the nursery
• ER Coverage - 2-3 calls per day, generally able to be handled over the phone
• Rounds at least once daily Saturday & Sunday in the inpatient unit & the nursery, otherwise it can be phone call coverage
• Must know how to intubate and place lines; stabilize infants in case baby needs to be shipped. No need to circumcise.
• Licensing opportunity!

Licensure: Active AR license required (assistance available if needed)
Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 60 days
