Highlights:

Call-only role with 24-hour in-house shifts (8a–8a)
Flexible schedule: 5–7 shifts per month (non-consecutive)
Broad clinical scope including NICU, admissions, and procedures

Opportunity Details:

Location: California
Specialty: Pediatric Hospitalist
Start Date: July 13, 2026
Schedule: 24-hour in-house call (8a–8a), no back-to-back shifts
Setting: Inpatient

Work Details:

5–10 patients per shift
Responsibilities include pediatric admissions, ED consults, NICU night coverage, well baby rounding, and high-risk deliveries
Procedures/skills: intubation (ETT/NT), central lines, UVC, needle pneumothorax, X-ray & EKG interpretation, neonatal resuscitation
EMR: Epic

Support Staff:

Full support staff onsite

Requirements:

Board Certified Pediatric Hospitalist
Active CA license required
DEA required
ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP required
Minimum 2 years of experience

Credentialing:

Approx. 90 days
