Locums Pediatric Hospitalist needed in CA-24hr call

Job description

Schedule:
• 24-hour on-call coverage only (6:00 AM – 6:00 AM)

• Urgent Dates:
○ 5/7–5/11
○ 5/21–5/25
○ 6/4–6/15
○ 6/19–6/21

Facility:
• Acute Care Hospital, Stroke Certified
• Patient Population: 100% Pediatrics
• Peds Floor: 0–1 patient, Nursery Floor: 4–6 patients
• Caseload: 100% Medicine
• Practice Setting: Inpatient

Work Details / Skills Required:
• Inpatient pediatric care, including NICU Level I/II, nursery, high-risk deliveries
• Procedures required:
○ C-sections (attendance), newborn resuscitation, central line placement (UVC/UAC), intubation (newborn/ED), EKG interpretation
• Preferred procedures: pediatric ventilation management, arterial lines, UAC, lumbar punctures, chest tubes
• Providers will work independently; no specialty backup on site
