Urgent PED Hospitalist needed in Southern Maine

Job description

Urhent LocumTenens PED Hospitalist coverage just a few miles north of Portland.

Pediatric Hospital
• July - Ongoing
• This is for 24 hour call and must be within 30 minutes of facility
• Certifications required are BC/BE, BLS, PALS and NRP
• Average about 3-5 newborns a day and about 2-3 pediatric admissions a month
• Do not have to be onsite for newborn admissions but must be onsite for pediatric admissions.
• Procedures required are intubations and Umbilical line placement
• Will Respond to Codes
• No NICU or PICU but has a Level 1 nursery
• Name of EMR system is Meditech
• Paid travel, lodging
• Will license while credentialing
