Pediatric Hospitalist Locums Opportunity – New York

Job description

Top Highlights:

24-Hour Call Coverage: Multiple consecutive shifts may be available
Offsite Call: Provider may remain outside the hospital when there are no acute issues, as long as they can return within 20 minutes
Low Daily Census: Typically 4–10 newborns and 0–3 inpatient pediatric patients

Opportunity Details:

24-hour call shifts
Weekday and weekend coverage needed
Newborn nursery coverage
High-risk deliveries
Pediatric ER consults
Pediatric inpatient coverage
Level I nursery
Must be comfortable resuscitating and stabilizing critically ill newborns pending NICU transport
24/7 anesthesia coverage
Epic EMR
4 hours gratis when called in for patient care

Requirements:

Board Certified in Pediatrics required
Active New York medical license required
NRP
PALS
BLS
Must remain within 20 minutes of the hospital while on call
