Pediatric Hospitalist Opportunity in Asheville, North Carolina

Job description

Position Highlights:
•Location: Asheville, NC
•Start Date: September 21, 2026
•Current Coverage Needs:
-September: 21–25
-October: 1, 4–9
-November: 7–12, 21–22, 25–30 (9 shifts needed)
-December: 1–10, 13, 19–22, 27–31 (16 shifts needed)
•Schedule:
-12-hour night shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
-Approximately 14 shifts per month
-Please include the provider's availability in the presentation

Work Details:
•Patient Volume: 10–18 patients per shift
•EMR: Cerner
•Procedures: Lumbar punctures; some IJ line placement
•Experience managing pediatric subspecialty patients required.
•No circumcisions or deliveries.

Requirements:
•Must have prior Pediatric Hospitalist experience
•Board Certified required
•PALS required
•Active NC medical license required
•Active NC DEA required
