About the clinician's workday

The pediatric hospitalist will provide 24-hour call coverage at an on-site inpatient facility, conducting daily rounding and managing admissions for pediatric patients. Clinical responsibilities include performing newborn examinations and coordinating pediatric transport from outside facilities. Support staff on site includes 3 RNs and 1 MA to assist throughout each assigned coverage period. Call coverage is a required component of this locum tenens assignment.
