Pediatric Hospitalist - Coastal OR

Job description

We're seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist for a locum tenens need in coastal Oregon. This is a low-volume inpatient need with 24-hour call coverage and a 7 on / 7 off schedule.

Position Highlights
-Setting: Inpatient Hospital
-Start Date: October 19, 2026
-Schedule: 7 on / 7 off
-Shift: 24-hour call, 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
-Average Volume: Approximately 1 patient per day
-Approximately 6–7 births per month
-Anticipated callback volume: 1–2 nights per week
-EMR: Epic
-Hospital Size: 21 beds
-Tele-neonatology support available

Qualifications
-MD or DO
-Board Certified in Pediatrics or Family Medicine
-Current NRP certification
-Neonatal Resuscitation experience required
-Must meet applicable recent clinical activity/case log requirements for hospital privileges
-Active OR license preferred; willing to license

Schedule
-7 on / 7 off schedule
-24-hour call shifts from 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
-Unrestricted call for deliveries and newborn admissions following delivery
