Pediatric Hospitalist Needed in Bellingham, WA | Peds Unit + Special Care Nursery | No Call

Job description

This is an inpatient pediatric hospitalist opportunity at an acute care hospital in Bellingham, Washington, on a three-month assignment. The schedule is rotating 12-hour day (7:00a-7:00p) and/or night (7:00p-7:00a) shifts in three-to-four-shift increments, with no 24-hour shifts and no call. The target start is October 2026, and travel is covered.

The physician covers a six-bed pediatric unit, a ten-bed Level II special care nursery, and a newborn nursery, with responsibilities including rounding, admissions, and newborn resuscitation. Volume runs 12-18 patients per day. The pediatrician is solo on night shifts, with additional newborn-round support on days. The patient population is pediatric, 18 and younger, and documentation is in Epic.

Candidates should be Board Certified, with PALS and NRP required. The client will explore IMLC, and credentialing runs 90 days standard, or approximately 30 days if pre-approved.
