Specialty: Pediatric Optometrist
Contract Length: October - Ongoing
Shift Details: 5x8 Monday – Friday
Schedule: 8a-5p
Practice Setting: Outpatient & Hospital

Work Details:
• Support staff: techs, ophthalmologists, optometrists
• Patients per day: 12-14 patients per day
• Patient population/age: mostly all pediatrics
• Department description: sees bread and butter and high acuity peds optometry patients, facility has all imaging devices needed, techs are there to run diagnostic imaging. Optometrists are responsible for works ups and patient care.
• EMR: epic
• Special procedures: contact lens fitting and/or complex contact lens fitting for peds

Skills required:
- Must have experience working with complex pediatric populations
- Experience with pediatric optometry and strabismus/binocular vision exams
