Locum Pediatric Otolaryngologist (ENT) | Ongoing Coverage

Job description

A respected health system in Oregon is seeking a Board-Certified Pediatric Otolaryngologist (ENT) for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity. This assignment offers a consistent one week per month schedule with a combination of clinic, surgical center, and call responsibilities.

Assignment Highlights

Coverage: Scheduled clinical hours plus call
Schedule: 1 week per month

Weekly Schedule
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: Clinic | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: Surgical Center | 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Night Call: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM while on assignment
Weekend Call: 24-hour call (8:00 AM – 8:00 AM)

Providers remain on call during clinic hours and will also take overnight call throughout their scheduled week.

Practice Details
Inpatient & Outpatient practice
Approximately 10 patients per shift
Call includes Emergency Department and established patient coverage
Evaluation of NICU airways required


Requirements
Board Certified in Pediatric Otolaryngology (BC only)
Active DEA required
BLS certification required
Providers who need to obtain an Oregon medical license or are currently in the licensing process are encouraged to apply. The licensing process should begin as soon as possible to ensure an on-time start.
Credentialing
Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days
