New PCICU APP Opportunity in San Francisco, CA – Will License

Job description

This is Kaitlin, Principal Recruiter with Aya Locums. We have a new PCICU APP opportunity in San Francisco, CA looking for coverage starting February 2026.

• Start Date: 02/02/2026
• Contract length: 4-month assignment with the option to extend
• Shifts: Variable 12-hour shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
o Must be able to provide 50% night or weekend availability
o Options for night/weekend call (not guaranteed)
• Setting: Inpatient hospital setting
• Daily census: ~17–18
o Majority pediatric population, including neonatal; small adult congenital population
o High-acuity cardiac cases: surgical, heart failure, vents, ECMO, pre/post-op, transplant
• Supportive team structure: (APPs, fellows, attending coverage)
• Special procedures: IVs, arterial lines; some intubation/central lines depending on comfort
• EMR: Epic
• Credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days
• Willing to license
