Pediatric Radiologist Needed in TX (Will license)

Job description

I have a client in Dallas, TX, who's seeking an experienced Pediatric Radiologist for locum coverage. Here are the job details.

Start: April

13-week assignment

Mon-Fri 8a-5p

Call: rotating between 5 docs, 1 week at a time, rarely called in (if ever)

*May also consider weekends.

Specialty: Radiology (onsite)

Shift Details: 8a-5p, have an inpatient unit, but no emergency room.
Schedule: Mon-Fri (may consider part time but it has to be days)

Work Details:
• Support staff: 4 FTE docs, one part-time (4 radiologists with MSK radiology fellowship training and 1 radiologist with pediatric radiology fellowship training, all modality techs on staff. RN’s also that staff. MRI with anesthesia.
• Department description: The Department is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment including a 3T Philips Ingenia and 3T and 1.5T GE magnets, Philips US, Philips and Carestream DR/CR, 2 EOS machines, and Sectra PACS.
EMR: Epic Hyperspace v Feb 2025
Speech: PSOne (build 2023.1.48.0)

• Amount of coverage needed per month: full time
• Patients per day: 45,000 imaging exams each year.
• Patient population/age: Peds
• EMR: Epic
• Hospital bed size: (Dallas: 32 beds, but census is 12 (for surgery recovery) drops to about 5 on the weekends. Frisco is strictly 8a-5p ambulatory surgery center.
• Trauma: n/a
• Skills required: Experience with musculoskeletal interventions desired, these will primarily be MSK reads (90%).

Practice Setting:
• Children’s Hospital specializing

Requirements:
• Board Certification: Yes
• Fellowship required: Peds or MSK
• State license required: Will consider IMLC or TX only.
• Minimum experience required: 1-year peds experience
Credentialing Timeframe: can credential w/in 30 days.

Willing To License?: Will consider IMLC or TX only.
Travel: Approve-air/rental car/lodging
