Locums Pediatric Radiologist Needed in TX - Remote or Onsite

Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Pediatric Radiologist for an ongoing locum tenens assignment at a children’s hospital in Texas. This position offers weekday-only coverage with no emergency room responsibilities and the flexibility to work remote or onsite. Weekends may be available.

Full-time coverage is preferred. Part-time candidates may be considered but must be available for weekday day shifts.

This role is primarily musculoskeletal focused, with approximately 90% MSK reads. Experience with musculoskeletal interventions is highly desired.

Practice Setting:
-Children’s hospital specializing in pediatric care
-Inpatient unit (no ER coverage)
-32-bed facility (average census ~12; ~5 on weekends)


Approximately 45,000 imaging exams annually


Support Staff:
-4 full-time MSK fellowship-trained radiologists
-1 part-time radiologist
-1 pediatric fellowship-trained radiologist
-Full modality technologists
-RN support staff
-MRI with anesthesia support

Technology:
-3T Philips Ingenia
-3T & 1.5T GE magnets
-Philips Ultrasound
-Philips & Carestream DR/CR
-2 EOS machines
-PACS: Sectra IDS7 Sign up or sign in for contact information
-Speech Recognition: PSOne (build 2023.1.48.0)

Requirements:
-Board Certified in Radiology
-Fellowship in Pediatric Radiology or MSK
-Minimum 1 year pediatric experience
-Active Texas license or IMLC (Texas eligibility required)

Credentialing:
-30-day credentialing timeframe
