Coverage Need Details:
Pediatric General Surgeon to provide ongoing coverage at Children’s Hospital

Position Highlights
•Coverage: Approximately 1 weekend (4–5 days) per month
•Schedule: Arrive Thursday evening and depart Monday morning
•24-hour call coverage
•Ongoing coverage while a physician is on leave
•Scheduling flexibility available based on provider availability

Practice Details
•Perform the full scope of Pediatric General Surgery procedures
•Work alongside 4 other Pediatric General Surgeons who provide collaborative support
•ECMO-certified center
•Projected annual surgical volume of 1,100+ pediatric cases
•Dedicated Inpatient Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs) provide daytime inpatient support
•Dedicated Outpatient APN assists with clinic coverage

Candidate Requirements
•Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric General Surgery
•Comfortable managing the full spectrum of pediatric general surgery cases
•Strong team-oriented approach and ability to work in a collaborative environment
Schedule/Shift Times: Thursday evening (night call) through Monday morning (24-hour
call coverage)
Estimated Shifts/Month: 5
Privileges Available: Full Privileges or Temp
EMR / Charting: EPIC
Types of Calls: 30min Response
