Clinic + Call Coverage | Children’s Hospital Setting
We are actively seeking an experienced Locum Tenens Urologist for ongoing coverage at a children’s hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for providers looking for consistent monthly coverage with a balanced clinical and procedural mix.
Licensure Requirements
Active state license in WI, AZ, NC, or NM, OR
IMLC eligible
Schedule & Coverage
2 weeks per month
Coverage includes clinic and call
Clinic hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
May need to be onsite earlier on surgery days
Case Mix / Work Breakdown
60% Clinic
10% Hospital
30% Procedures / Surgeries
Typical Procedures
Cystoscopy
Stent placement & removal
Prostate biopsy
Vasectomy
Bladder instillation
Equipment Available
X-ray
Cystoscopes
Rigid scope
Bladder scanner
TRUS
Pediatric Experience Requirement
Due to the facility being a children’s hospital, the locum must be willing to treat pediatric testicular torsion cases and select pediatric urology patients presenting through the ER
Scope of pediatric cases can be discussed further with the Medical Director during the phone interview
