PCICU/CVPICU APP - Needed in San Francisco, CA -WILL LICENSE PAs
Job description
• Support staff: 6 APPs, 2 fellows, 3 surgical attendings
• Amount of coverage needed per month: full time, 4x10/weekly
• Patients per day: Floor: 3-8 patients/day; usually 4-5 patients during week; weekends heavier census. All stepdown cardiac patients
• Provider will be responsible for frontline management for cardiac stepdown and prepare them for discharge
• Provider will be responsible for ICU consults
• EMR: EPIC
• Special procedures: Chest Tubes, Intracardiac line removal
• Skills required: Must have pediatric cardiac care experience. Strongly prefer providers with second assist experience. Must be proficient in pediatric stepdown cardiac care
• Board Certification: Yes, NPs must be CPNP-AC, physician assistants must have a master’s degree in physician assistant studies
• At least 1-year exp in either peds cardiac experience, adult CT surgery experience, cardiac transplant experience, adult cardiac stepdown experience
