Peds NP Needed in NYC ****ASAP START*****

Job description

Location: NYC

Start: ASAP

4-weeks

9a - 5p Monday - Friday Full Time

Requirements:
- MUST have experience in an outpatient setting. This is an outpatient position. Will float between 5 facilities
- Must be available for the full time schedule
- NY licensed
- Must be Board Certified
- AHHA life certs required
- BLS

Travel: Travel allowance

Responsibilities include:
-Perform comprehensive health assessments for pediatric patients (newborn through adolescence)
-Diagnose and treat acute illnesses (URI, otitis media, minor injuries, etc.)
-Manage chronic conditions (asthma, ADHD, diabetes, etc.)
-Conduct well-child exams and sports physicals
-Administer immunizations and ensure vaccine compliance
-Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests
-Provide patient and family education
-Prescribe medications in accordance with state regulations
-Maintain accurate documentation in EMR
