The team  consists of a close-knit group of NNPs and Neonatologists supported by a dedicated staff of RNs, RTs, occupational and physicial therapists, social workers, and breastfeeding specialists, each trained specifically to work with infants in the NICU.    Position Details:Position is with Pediatrix, the contracted NICU group35-bed Level III NICU Average daily census of 23-25NNP coverage model: 24-hour shifts  plus second NNP on day shiftWork schedule: average of seven 24-hour shifts a monthNNP may attend high-risk deliveries as assignedProcedures including intubation, insertion of UVC, UAC, and PICC linesPediatric Hospitalist sees newbornsPeds subspecialties in-house: Cardiology, Nephrology, Peds Surgery, EndocrinologyCompetitive compensation including full  benefits package Position Requirements:NNP experience preferredNew NP grads considered if 3+ years NICU nursing experienceGraduate of an approved, accredited nursing programCurrent Texas APRN license with certification as Neonatal NP, or ability to obtain oneBoard Certification   QualificationsCurrent APRN national specialty certificationMinimum of a master’s degree Benefits and CompensationOur clinicians enjoy a competitive compensation package, with many locations offering sign-on bonuses and relocation. Take great care of the patient, every day and every Sign up or sign in for contact information At Pediatrix & Obstetrix, that’s not only our motto at work each day; it’s also how we view our employees and their families.
