Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Needed in Puyallup, WA
Start Date: ASAP credentialed
Contract Length: 3 months with possibility to extend
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
40 hours/week with 1-hour unpaid lunch
No call
Practice Setting:
• Outpatient ambulatory community health clinic
• Seeing newborn through pediatric patients
• Average 16 patients per day
• Fast-paced clinic environment
• EPIC EMR
Work Details:
• Dedicated MA for each provider
• Additional support includes receptionists, mental health therapists, dietitians, onsite pediatricians, and clinic administrators
• Providers should be comfortable working independently after a 1-week orientation/ramp-up period
• Community health setting serving vulnerable populations including migrants and refugees
• Interpreter services available onsite
• Bilingual providers are a plus but not required
Travel:
• Flight, lodging, rental car, or mileage covered by client
Requirements:
• BC required
• Active WA license required at time of submission
• Active WA DEA required
• Epic experience required
• Clean background required
• No malpractice history accepted
• COVID and flu vaccines required
• Additional certifications such as BLS/ACLS may be required during credentialing
Credentialing Timeframe:
• 2-3 weeks
• Name clear required for all providers
