1:1 Pediatric School Nurse (LPN) – Cherokee County, GA (#25338)

Location: Cherokee County, GA | Type: Contract/School-Based | Pay: $35/hour

Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate 1:1 School Nurse (LPN) to provide individualized nursing care to medically fragile students during the school day and transportation. Students have complex needs including seizure disorders, G-tubes, oxygen support, cerebral palsy, and wheelchair dependency.

Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted Georgia LPN license required
Current CPR/BLS certification required
Pediatric, school nursing, home health, or private duty nursing experience strongly preferred
Experience with seizure disorders, G-tubes, oxygen administration, and complex pediatric care preferred
Must be able to ride school transportation when assigned
Bilingual Spanish a plus

Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 nursing care per physician orders and Individualized Healthcare Plans
Monitor and respond to seizures, respiratory changes, and medical emergencies
Administer G-tube feedings, medications, and oxygen support as ordered
Accompany students on school bus transportation when required
Maintain accurate daily documentation and communicate with school teams and families
Ensure student safety during all school-day activities and transitions

• Contract | $35/hour | School-based with transportation support
• Medically fragile students | Pediatric & complex care experience preferred
• Active Georgia LPN license & CPR/BLS certification required
