This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, well-supported environment providing care to hospitalized children and newborns in a community-focused setting. Position HighlightsProvide care in a 17-bed pediatric unit and newborn nursery with approximately 2,400 annual admissionsPediatric Floor Average Daily Census: 5Newborn Nursery Average Daily Census: 15Collaborate closely with pediatric hospitalists in a team-based care modelWork an 8-hour daytime shift; weekends preferredParticipate in rounding, patient management, admissions, and discharge planningAccess subspecialty support through leading institutionsUniversity of Virginia (UVA)INOVAChildren’s National HospitalPediatrix also provides onsite NICU services, supporting continuity across levels of careAbout YouCertified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantExperience in pediatrics, newborn care, or hospital medicine preferredStrong clinical judgement and decision-making skillsTeam oriented with excellent communication abilitiesCommitted to delivering family-centered, high-quality care QualificationsCurrent APRN national specialty certificationMinimum of a master’s degree Must have an active VA license Benefits and CompensationOur clinicians enjoy a competitive compensation package, with many locations offering sign-on bonuses and relocation.
