Job Description
The primary focus of the Pediatrician is to provide quality care to the diverse patient population. The ideal candidate should have a desire to work with under-served communities and a passion for health education and primary care.

Details:
• Permanent, full-time position
• Federally Qualified Health Center
• Excellent multidisciplinary team of professionals
• Ability to see up to 20 patients
• Provide outpatient services for pediatric patients
• Care for pediatric patients, ages 0-18
• Conduct routine well-child care visits, urgent care, and follow-up appointments
• Provide supervision and consultation to mid-level pediatric practitioners
• Conduct pediatric inpatient hospital rounds
• Participate in quality management activities as assigned by the Medical Director
• Participate in the direction and development of health care services
• EHR: NextGen

Qualifications
• Direct patient care experience in a community health or primary care setting
• Bilingual Spanish required
• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from an accredited school
• Completion of a three-year pediatrics residency
• Valid and unrestricted California license
• Current DEA registration
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with EHR’s a plus
