Locum Pediatricians (x2) needed in California

Locations:
Northview/ Merced Suites (Float 4x10)
Los Banos/ Dos Palos (Float 4x10)

Hourly + Travel Expenses

FQHC Facility

Credentialing: 3 weeks

Start: 1/5/26

LOA: 12 week assignments with the possibility to extend after

Schedule: 4x10 schedule 8am-6:30pm (30 min lunch)
8am-7pm (1 hr lunch)

Patient Volume: Approximately 24 patients/day; 29 are scheduled but there is a 20% no show rate. Walk-ins and same day appointments are also welcome if there is a huge no show rate, so may be up to 29 patients/day. 

Procedures: Full scope General Pediatrics. Lots of wellness checks during this time of year. Bread & Butter pediatrics. Peds MD will have to be flexible with being able to cover different locations if needed. 

EMR: EPIC

License: CA License

Certifications: Must be board-certified

Relevant Experience: 1-3 years of experience

Additional Info: Try to schedule the pediatricians with their own MA's. There will be 1 ½ MA's scheduled with them. The ½ MA is a float.

There are additional sites/locations for Pediatrics, and the locum will have to be comfortable to switching locations, if absolutely needed.

There is a 3 week ramp up period of Epic training.

75% of the population is Spanish speaking and Filipino. They have interpreter lines and virtual translation as well. Most of their permanent staff is Spanish speaking or able to understand Spanish.
