Job description

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatric Physician to join a community-based primary care practice serving underserved patient populations in the Sacramento area.

Position Details:
Outpatient pediatric primary care opportunity
Provide comprehensive care for patients from birth through adolescence
Responsibilities include:
Well-child visits
Preventive care
Acute illness management
Chronic disease management
Developmental and behavioral assessments
Patient and family education
Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams and specialty providers as needed
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical performance measures
Opportunity to supervise Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies
Mission-driven community health setting serving underserved populations

Schedule:
Full-time schedule
Monday–Friday
Daytime clinic hours
No call requirements specified

Clinical Environment:
Community health clinic setting
Focus on medically underserved and low-income patient populations
Collaborative care model with administrative and clinical support
Emphasis on preventive medicine and continuity of care
Experience with quality metrics and value-based care initiatives preferred

Requirements:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
Active California medical license or ability to obtain licensure
DEA certification required
Current CPR certification required
Experience caring for underserved populations preferred
Experience managing pediatric patients from birth through 19 years of age
Ability to supervise Advanced Practice Providers in pediatric care
Bilingual or multilingual skills preferred, including:
Spanish
Russian
Farsi
Pashto/Pushto

Compensation & Benefits:
Annual compensation range: $235,000–$293,750
