This outpatient pediatric clinic serves a high-demand, socioeconomically challenged community in the High Desert region of California. The facility operates a busy clinic-only setting with no call requirements, seeing an average of 25 patients per day, and offers a collaborative environment with the potential for a locums-to-permanent transition for the right provider.

Opportunity:
Physician - Pediatrics

Job Details:

  • Full-time outpatient clinic coverage, Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm with no call requirements
  • Provider must be available to work 5 days per week, 4 weeks per month
  • Average of 25 patient encounters per day, with some fluctuation due to a high no-show rate in the area
  • Clinic-only setting; no hospital privileges required - provider can begin once system access is established
  • Guaranteed 8 hours per day with overtime applicable after 9 hours per day
  • Active California medical license required; DEA required
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency
  • BLS certification required
  • Proficiency with EPIC or general EMR experience is strongly preferred; please indicate EMR experience on submission
  • Familiarity with the High Desert area is a plus and should be noted on provider presentation
  • Spanish-speaking (bilingual) candidates are preferred
  • Local candidates preferred; travel requirements must be noted on submission if provider is not local
  • Locums-to-permanent opportunity available for the right candidate
  • Estimated credentialing timeframe of approximately 1 day once access is configured
  • Provider will need to supply documentation for payor credentialing including CPPA, driver's license, social security card, degree certificates, CA medical board certificate, DEA, and current malpractice documentation

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
